Today we sent out our official press release about the caiman hatchlings. Within the hour our phone was ringing off the hook with calls from television and radio stations and a local newspaper. This evening, Puddles and Mushu made their television debut on the CTV News at 6:00. They both looked very cute and already we are being flooded with Facebook and text messages, emails, and phone calls. We very much appreciate all of the support that you all have shown to us from the time the eggs were laid, until the little ones made their way out of their eggs. We look forward to having the babies on display to the public in the new season. We are very busy with our outreach but will try our very best to give weekly updates about the babies as they continue to grow stronger and as we prepare them for shows sometime in the new year. |
